Supporting Local Businesses during COVID-19

The spread of COVID-19 has undoubtedly had a huge impact on businesses, both small and large. We sadly cannot stop this, but we can help local businesses stay afloat during this time to help give them a fighting chance of survival once the world returns to its ‘new normal’.

Local businesses are run by local people, who care about the community and want to support it. You can expect the staff of a local business to be truly committed to and enthusiastic about their business, working hard to make it the best that it can be with a genuine emotional connection to the business and the community; I know this first hand.

The doors to Bee’s Beauty Lounge have been continuously open and closed since March 2020. It has been a stressful time to say the least, not knowing what news the next Government announcement will bring. I understand that this is for the greater good but has kept myself and many others in limbo and unable to plan forward. I am hopeful however that the doors to The Lounge will reopen this year…and stay open!

Whilst the government is doing its part to protect the economy, there are also ways that you can help such as following them on social media and leaving great reviews online.
Businesses thrive from good reviews.

During lockdown, my husband has been fortunate to start a small business of his own which launched in November 2020, Sirluxe Socks.

Sirluxe Socks has been a dream of his for some time; a luxurious men’s sock company, made using super-soft and sustainable bamboo. All products have been developed with environmental awareness in mind.

The range is stunning and I thoroughly recommend visiting the website and seeing for yourself. The socks make the most perfect, luxurious gifts for your loved ones and for a limited time only, we are offering a can 10% discount off all total orders by using the code BEE10
